2x Award Winning R&B Singer-Songwriter, CLE’PH (Muhammad Rashid) born in Queens, grew up in Brooklyn, New York. At a young age, CLE’PH discovered his passion and love for music. Life in Fort Greene, music was an escape for him which kept him off of the streets. Attending Andre Jackson High School, he and a few friends created a RnB singing group called, “Distinction”. Writing his first song “Take It Slow” which the group performed at various venues around the city creating a buzz. Later the group fizzled out leaving Cle’ph on his own. In early 2000, CLE’PH won his first singing competition as a solo artist at Long Island University. He went on to beat out 13 other music artists with a song he penned titled “I Can Treat You Better” solidifying his spot in a music video with an Independent Music Label, Really Hot Music. In 2018, CLE’PH won his first Independent Music Award for R&B Artist of The Year, at the LDM Network Awards for his hit single, “Hey, Miss Beautiful.” In 2019,
